What garden tiller would you recommend?
Our garden tiller finally broke last year so now we're looking for a new one. The two we're trying to decide between are the Husqvarna FT900 (26" with 205cc B&S) and the Bolens 21A-250J265 (24" with a 158cc B&S). They are both comparably priced with similar features. Other than that, I can't find many reviews for either.
Have you used either of these? Can you let me know your experience with them? Or point me in the direction of some reviews, please.
Or, is there another tiller you can recommend? Our garden is 1 1/2 acres so it needs to be large.
I would not recommend anything Husqvarna sells. I have had their trimmers as I have been in the lawn care business. I have family in the lawn care business who also had trouble out of them. My father-n-law logs and has a Husqvarna chainsaw and other brands and says he never uses the Husqvarna anymore because all of the others are much better brands.
I recently saw a Cub Cadet tiller that looked awesome. It was at Home Depot. I have a Cub mower and love it. I'm thinking my next tiller may be the one I saw at HD.
